Criminal charges are scary.  Felony charges are even scarier, and they are scary for a reason.  The law is complex.  The process itself can be overwhelming.  The punishments for a felony can be severe.  These are just a few of the reasons why it is vital that people facing felony charges or the potential of felony charges consult with an attorney as soon as possible.

But scary does not mean impossible.  And scary most certainly does not mean that all hope is lost.  Remember, and please never forget, that allegations are only allegations until they are either proven or admitted in a court of law.  We are all innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.  You are innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.  Shon W.
